How to make main page post shorter

Some bloggers posts/articles are too long it takes much space from the main page so the main page seems to be too long.Today i will tell a solution for this so your blog may look more professional.
Go to Dashboard-Setting-Basic
now you will see it as in the picture below

change old editor to updated editor

now you can apply "Read more >>"as shown in the picture to your posts hope you got it.
